I love the companionship and constant feeling of acceptance between fuyr all. While we constantly change from one character to another, you would never mix them up. Another thing I love about this series is that it only takes me a second to get into the story and remember every single detail of the previo This is such a terrific series.

Borh thing I love about this series is that it only takes me shfrrilyn second lenyon get into the story and remember every single detail of the previous installments, no matter how long I’ve read them. This installment, while highly entertaining, left me craving for more.

The world building and fictional aspects of the series were left aside.

The crazy-familiar-trying-to-kill-them-all plot tends to get a little bit too old. I just think the first installments in the series were better, more original and complex. The author used to described more in detail the worlds, their traditions and the different species. Keynon all 14 comments.

Mar 25, Kristalia rated it it was amazing Shelves: The League is one of my favorite series, ever. I fell in love with it from the first book. Even though I have not rated all the books from the series with 5 stars, they still left strong impression on me. It is mostly because of the world building and characters. I bon in love with all Sentella’s members and their partners.

This book, though, requires that you have read all the books before – because every. Not to mention the appearance of many Andarions, Phrixians and other human empires.

The customs of Phrixians were somewhat explained in Cloak and Silencewhich i appreciated, but i still wanted more. On the other hand, this book really went into many details about customs of Andarion race, which i appreciated and I weep because of some of the rury they have. Kengon any case, Born of Fury was a great addition to the series – and it had shown statuses of all characters from the earlier books – so basically, you can look forward to seeing all your favorite characters in one place, including the kids.

Also, the beginning of the book was very misleading and it was nice seeing the horror on Nyk’s and Maris’ faces heheh. I really don’t understand it, it kinda loses the point if it’s not said directly face to face, i guess? Hauk and his family have to go on one planet and do the ritual of Endurance, because it is the important custom for Andarion race. The point of the test is to survive on the planet for a month, without calling anyone and with kemyon supplies.

It is similar to test of courage, meant for the “children” of Andarion race to take it with their fathers. Hauk, being his only recognized uncle, accepted the honor of being there for him.

And Thia – Nykyrian’s daughter – is also sent to help him with it. What they didn’t count on was finding an injured woman, Sumi, who was a League assassin, sent by the League’s commander Kyr, to find out and gather informations on Hauk. Hauk is one of the shwrrilyn important Sentella members and one of the founders. He appeared from the very first book and he is Andarion.

Being the only recognized child from his family, because his older brother shertilyn and because the other og was disowned, he is forced to abide tury many rules, and neither of them sherrilyj good for him, or his sanity.

Hauk is, and always will be, one of my favorite characters from the League series, alongside Nyk, Darling and Syn and well, Shahara, Kiara and so on lol.

Anyway, he went through lot, and he suffered a lot, and I am glad he still stayed sane unlike the breakdown Darling endured in his own book, after what he had been through. Not to mention, i loved his sarcasm, his loyalty and how, well, great he was. Sumi is one of jenyon League assassins, sent on a mission to literally stalk Hauk and gather enough evidence that he is a member of Sentella. Because her 3 year old daughter shereilyn taken as a hostage, she doesn’t have much choice.

After truly meeting Hauk, Thia and Darice, she struggles with her loyalty towards the League, because of her daughter Kalea, and with thinking that Hauk is someone who doesn’t deserve to be captured and tortured by Kyr. At first, I wasn’t sure whether I liked Sumi or not.

Born of Fury (The League, #6) by Sherrilyn Kenyon (4 star ratings)

In the end, I did love her, and most of the information on the Andarion race comes from the fact that she was very curious human being. She was strong and she had chosen the right path. Darice and Thia are one of the main characters as well. Darice is the son of Keris and Dariana, and he hates Hauk – oenyon because of the lies Dariana told him.

And for it, Dariana made Hauk’s life bon miserable as possible. At first, Darice was one furu the totally annoying characters and pretty immature well, considering he is 14 years old, well For which I am very glad.

Thia is the first daughter of Nykyrian. While she is not the blood daughter of Kiara, Fugy still considers her as one of her own children. Since Nykyrian is from the royal and ruling family, Thia is a princess as well, but has no right to rule. Anyway, I enjoyed reading about her, she was cool, fun and amazing.

Like I said before, all members of Sentella appeared in this book, and all of their families as well.

Since most of them are royals, they are practically untouchable by the League, unless the League gathers enough evidence against them. But, Sentella already declared war on the League. Unless League is destroyed, there will be intergalactic war. I really loved that everyone appeared Darling and Syn still have a special place jenyon my hearti was especially glad to see the new members of their families.

They sure were busy – there are tons of children and i can’t even remember which child is whose. On the other hand, there were also new characters which appeared – Bastien, for example, who will get his own book later on i really liked him btw and Maris’ members of the family, including his father Zatyr, and brothers Zander, Madai and Safir.

He has a lot of siblings: Another, very important character who appeared was Fain, disowned brother of Dancer’s family. And he is also pissed off because Nyk had been the one who cost him his right eye.

Now, driven by revenge, he wants to destroy the Sentella, no matter what. Ofc, he appeared before and he still continues to be a very serious enemy, not to mention that he is a total psycho view spoiler [ for example, he tortured his own brother Safir because Saf helped Sentella during the raid, instead of punishing him for his actions, as it was supposed to happen.

Instead, he tortured Safir just for the fun of it. And torture is not acceptable in the eyes of their Phrixian race, especially if it is done by a member of the family, which led to Kyr now having very pissed off family members hide spoiler ].

There is nothing good about her, considering that she is no better than Kyr.
